Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Business Analyst who will help identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering and define scope and objectives for work efforts integrating with business processes/data and IT infrastructure.

*This will be on onsite position located at our Meridian, Idaho campus.

As a Business Analyst I/II you will:

• Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes.
  
• Research business requirements, develop detailed specifications, and validate the solutions with business stakeholders.
  
• Communicate business stakeholder needs to the development team by translating business requirements.
  
• Own the development, with IT support, of tools, applications, reports, and analytics to enable strategic programs and metrics for the department.
  
• Troubleshoot technical issues and work through a resolution (root cause analysis).
  
• May coordinate user acceptance testing and related test activities.
  
• Participate on project teams
  
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  

As a Level II you may also:

• Lead cross-functional project teams
  
• Represent department on committees and has decision authority
  

Qualifications:

Level 1:

Experience: None

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline or related field of study; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Level 2:

Experience: 3 years as a Business Analyst, or related experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline or related field of study; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
