Job Summary: The BusinessImprovement Specialist will drive operational performance improvements within HCSthrough effective Project Management, performance metrics, and drivingcontinuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Direct operational performance initiatives to enable key metrics to identify and drive improved performance. Establish a methodology that reports performance through automated processes with forward looking trends and real-time capability. Translate results through clear, consistent reporting, visual displays and routine cadence for sustainability.


  • Direct continuous improvement efforts to be visible through organization, focus on consistency and lean process to drive efficiencies in high risk areas. Align business strategy to get credible buy in from workforce to drive initiatives and necessary support through credible proven results.


  • Align operating plans to ensure strategies drive financial results through trend analysis, identify, and quantify the opportunities for improvement within the business and recommend appropriate improvement plans and methods of deployment across platforms.


    • 4.Successfully manage initiatives by working with CabinSolutions staff to ensure all needs are met, actions, challenges, and problemsare resolved and mitigated.

    5.Set the cadence for pre-planning and program activities i.e.manpower, training, tooling, parts/materials, etc. to ensure HCS success.

    6.Promote visibility and continual engagement by developing daily,weekly, monthly reporting on all Project activities.

    7.Holds daily, weekly, etc. conference calls to suit projectupdates and to solve issues.
  • Objectively interact with senior leadership to translate objectives into successful plans that drive performance, efficiencies, competitive cost.


    • Secondary Duties:

    Performother duties and special projects as assigned.

    Accountabilities:

    Accountableto the Chief Operating Officer

    Job Qualifications:

    Minimum:

    1.Fouryear degree in Business or Aviation Management or equivalent experience.

    2.Five(5) years aircraft related experience in a manufacturing environment.

    3.Proficiencyin Microsoft Project or similar software

    4.Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

    5.Read,write, speak and understand the English language.

    6.Excellentoral and written communication skills and be able to interact with a widevariety of people.

    Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stoop as necessary.
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
  • Normal office environment where approximately 70% of work is performed in a sitting position.
  • Frequent exposure to manufacturing areas for varying lengths of time.
