Meta is seeking a strategic thinker and an impact-oriented individual to join our North America Business Planning and Operations team. This person will be analytical and detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and be able to move fast while keeping focused on the job at hand. Being comfortable with ambiguity, confidence in their time management skills, excellent collaborator, owning the room while presenting to groups, these are some of the qualities we are looking for. The ideal candidate will have a strong stakeholder management experience, along with analytical skills (Tableau or Power BI or Excel or similar tools) and experience in managing large data sets (SQL or Python or other scripting language). The candidate should be able to tell a story using data. They can synthesize and make recommendations based on imperfect data and from multiple sources, have a strong business intuition to guide their analysis, drive operational rigor and excellence through proactive process planning and automation on regular cadence or project basis, and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally, supporting internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time position and advertising experience is not required.

Business Planning & Operations Lead, GBG North America Scaled Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Single point of contact for sales leadership, helping drive growth through a comprehensive regional strategy and robust rhythm of the business (RoB) cadence. Responsible for monitoring and measuring overall business performance through KPIs/Metrics, highlighting risks and opportunities, identifying hot spots, and designing recovery plans.
  • Business Insights: Primarily focus on business insights modeling and operational excellence to enable Sales and BPO leadership to make effective, data-driven, strategic operating decisions to optimize sales performance.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Engage with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to assess needs, prioritize opportunities, develop analytical framework to address and synthesize storyboard for executive consumption.
  • Driving Accountability: Trusted advisor for sales, driving oversight/governance across remit and holding key stakeholders accountable, to ensure program/project success.
  • Strategic Projects: Support sales leadership on short-term and long-term projects including launch of new sales initiatives. Help drive operational efficiencies on existing processes and support the upkeep of key tools used for reporting and data analytics purposes.
  • Impact: Leverage analytics tools and capabilities to assess revenue, product and operational health trends, including business segment performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity and sales effectiveness, as well as external market and competitor analysis.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of work experience (or 5+ years with MBA/Masters) involving analytical rigor as typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like finance, business operations, etc. or industries like consulting, banking, etc.
  • Problem solving and analysis experience solving business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
  • Experience presenting business and technical content to peers and general audiences
  • Experience building and managing relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Communication experience with story-telling and presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Experienced in using Tableau, Power BI or Excel or Python or similar tools/language, for running data analysis and building quantitative models for business decision making
  • Advanced SQL experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in or with Digital media, internet or technology industry, or a willingness to learn about these domain
  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
