C++ Software Engineer

FishEye Software is on the hunt for adept C++ Software Engineers to be a cornerstone of our team dedicated to the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program. This advanced defense initiative is crucial in bolstering Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) capabilities, enabling seamless radar data exchange among various naval assets. Given the rapidly changing landscape of threats from sophisticated adversaries, the CEC system stands out as a beacon of defense in a joint operational environment.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a central role in the architecture, development, and verification of intricate software and systems. Your footprint will extend beyond mere coding. Engaging in every phase of the software lifecycle, from ideation to integration, will be at the heart of your duties.

The CEC program, a blend of avant-garde hardware and software, seeks to streamline the dissemination of radar data concerning aerial threats across naval platforms. In your capacity as a C++ Software Engineer, your insights and expertise will be pivotal in refining and augmenting these data processing algorithms, culminating in a unified display of tactical information.

This position requires an active DOD Secret Clearance.

Required Skills

• B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of C++ software development
• Experience operating within a Linux-based environment.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience in embedded programming
• Familiarity with Git, ClearCase, SVN, or similar

Desired Skills

• Windows, VxWorks, or similar
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Radar domain knowledge
• Model Based Engineering
• Object Oriented Analysis/Development
• Software systems modeling languages such as UML and SysML.
