BaylorScott & White Health is seeking an additional, fellowship trained, BC/BE CardiacElectrophysiologist to join the Section of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacingat our Central Texas Division. Our Electrophysiology team covers thefast-growing population of Temple, Round Rock, Lakeway, Killeen and Waco. Fiveboard certified electrophysiologists, two nurse practitioners and two physicianassistants covering five hospitals and several outpatient clinics in theregion, constitute our current team.

 

Dutiesinclude inpatient and outpatient consultation, follow up, device implants,catheter based ablation in several locations in a rotating schedule.  Additional duties include teaching forcardiology fellows and working closely with Cardiology Subspecialties andCardio-Thoracic surgery.

 

Deviceimplantation and catheter ablation is currently available in several facilitieswith three electrophysiology laboratories and a Stereotaxis Robotic Navigationsystem in Temple.

 

Qualifications

·        Boardcertified in cardiovascular disease with additional fellowship training andboard certification/eligible in EP Cardiology.

·        Experiencein cardiac rhythm device implantation and catheter based ablation
