The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of sarcoma. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with sarcoma in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and Pennsylvania Hospital (HUP).

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the ability of the selected candidate to develop and grow an independent research program relevant to sarcoma. The selected candidate will be expected to produce high quality research which will lead to publications. Scholarship is required in the clinician educator track.
