Your role:
This position will lead the CCM Global Design Engineering and Operations Team to provide innovative technical solutions to customers through a variety of service-based operations. This team consists of the Technical Operations team, the Raw Material Support team, CCM Technical Operations Engineering, the CCM Packaging Engineering team and the ImMEIDAte Advantage team. This position will be responsible for setting operational strategy and metrics for the teams along with providing input on and implementing operational strategies and initiatives in support of the CCM Global Design Team, Process Solutions Business Unit, Global and US / EU CCM Operations, and overall Company strategies and objectives.

This position is expected to support team members through effective leadership and coaching and instill a culture of empowerment and engagement. It will work with the team members to develop their skills and expertise while ensuring performance meets required standards through regular direct communication and performance management. This position will prepare operational expense budgets, capital expense budgets, and other key financial reports and forecasts for the Design Engineering & Operations Teams.

There will be a minimum 20% travel including international.

Who you are:
Minimum requirements:

  • Employee must have a minimum BA/BS in Chemistry, Biological sciences, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or Engineering is desirable.
  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is desirable.

Preferred requirements:
  • 7+ years direct employee leadership experience to include setting personal goals, performance management, and employee development
  • 7 + years project experience involving successful management of projects, resources, timelines, budgets and coordinating between functional groups
  • 7 + years sales, marketing or manufacturing experience in custom pharmaceutical, biotech or fine chemical industry.
  • 5+ years of experience developing operational / commercial strategies and successful execution of those
