NGHS is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistantfor our NGPG Urology teamin Gainesville.

Full Time: M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm

Currently offering a Sign-On bonus of $2,000!

Department Overview

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for utilizing the nursing process in providing the healthcare needs of assigned patients within existing standards of care. Additional job responsibilities encompass office procedures directly relating to patient care and front office duties as required for an overall efficient operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Registry or Certification as a Medical Assistant required.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• One to two years related experience preferred. Experience as lab tech or with radiology equipment preferred.

Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional carrying up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling/stooping/bending
• Frequent standing/walking
• Frequent pushing/pulling
• Occasional intensive work requiring reading, writing, and talking
