RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a well established diversified international manufacturer located in the Greater Grand Rapids area, is looking to add a CFO to their leadership team. This position will report to the President, and have a staff of 10-12 members.Summary:The CFO is responsible for the finance/accounting departments including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cost accounting, taxes, insurance, fixed assets, budgets, forecasting, month end and year end accounting and the reporting of the financial performance of all entities including joint ventures and international operations. The CFO will also be a key partner with the banks and support meetings with the Board of Directors. Responsibilities:

• In this role, the CFO will determine the financial implications of the company's objectives and develop financial plans to meet objectives
• Develop financial performance measures and review the performance results of the company and of individual operating unit(s).
• Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems
• Assess the company's need for capital, develop capital structure and acquisition plans
• Assist in acquisitions efforts
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures
• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, treasury and expenses to guide business leaders
• The CFO will develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations
• Develop and execute both the short term and long term business strategy

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
• 15+ years of accounting and finance leadership
• Must have manufacturing industry background
• Solid understanding of manufacturing/cost accounting principles
• Hands on working leader, not a pure strategy role
• ERP implementation experience strongly preferred
