Chemical Processing Operator

About You

You are a flexible, focused multi-tasker who likes working indoors or outdoors. You enjoy a fast-paced environment where your team counts on you to be organized. You like doing different tasks throughout the day to ensure a process is complete from start to finish. Your peers have commended you on your attention to detail, and you are always vigilant on the job site.

Day in the Life:
While no two days are exactly the same, as a Chemical Process Operator, you can expect to:

  • Perform daily inspections of facility and equipment
  • Assist staff and drivers arriving at the facility
  • Receive, review, and sign off on manifests
  • Operate a forklift
  • Inspect/analyze material coming in
  • Offload drums, boxes, totes, bulk, etc. and store in an organized and safe manner
  • Operate mechanical recycling equipment
  • Maintain operating records
  • Perform general housekeeping and light maintenance of equipment and site
  • Complete other duties as assigned

What you need to apply
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1 year of general labor experience preferred
  • General computer and data logging skills
  • Comfort wearing a respirator as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule (on short notice), and overtime, to support plant operations
