Client Overview:

We are seeking a Chemistry Lead with strong QA/QC experience for our day/evening shift. This is a great location for someone who wants to be near Los Angeles, but doesn't want to face the hours of traffic of a big city. Overview:

A combination of processes used to measure and assure the quality of test results and/or products, and the process of ensuring the same meets regulatory guidelines and standards.

Skill Requirements:

• Be familiar with regulatory requirements applicable to each department.
  Review and monitor the documentation practices and data recording quality of all analytical runs generated in the laboratory
  
• Be able to assist in the implementation and monitoring of appropriate QA/QC of the total testing process.Ensure that protocol related tests have been validated and work with lab management to ensure adequate inventory
  
• Assist with training of technologists in specific test procedures
  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Follow and adhere to existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  
• Be knowledgeable and proficient with applicable regulations and inspection guidelines
  
• Assist in drafting and/or revising SOPs
  
• Complete annual university biohazard/universal precaution/radiation safety training
  
• Adhere to biohazard/radiation safety standards for the proper handling and disposal of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents and/or radiation sources in the workplace
  
• Must be able to complete tasks within specified time frames
  

Education and Certification:

Associate or Bachelor's degree and applicable ASCP certification
