Chromatographic Scientist *Job Title:* Chromatographic Scientist
*Location:* Lafayette, IN
*Salary:* $100K-$140K+ DOE
*Requirements:* Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Method Development

We are an advanced lab providing chemical development and materials analysis to pharmaceutical and other companies. We are currently looking to add a seasoned Chromatographic Scientist to our team of industry leaders with experience in high-performance liquid and gas chromatography, dissolution, and other
associated techniques, method development and cGMP method validation, transfers and verifications. If this sounds like you, I'd love to talk to you!
What You Will Be Doing - Perform experiments with high performance liquid and gas chromatography, UV-Vis, dissolution, and other similar techniques
- Prepare reagents, solutions, etc as needed
- Develop and refine analytical methods (including sample preparation, separations, spectrometry, etc.)
- Oversee projects, client interactions, and scientific insight
- Qualify new instruments (IQ/OQ/PQ) and software validation as needed
What You Need for this Position - Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or similar Chemistry focused discipline; preference given to candidates with material science experience
- 3+ years of professional pharmaceutical experience with analytical method development
- Experience with HPLC, UPLC, and GC method development
- Experience qualifying HPLC and GC units for GMP analysis
- Laboratory instrument experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC, IC, UV-VIS, Dissolution, KF
- Software validation experience is a plus
- Demonstrated analytical and chromatographic background in a method validation and method development role
- Bonus points for experience in chemical patent prosecution and litigation
