Position Summary

An internship in the Employee Benefit practice provides both a learning opportunity and valuable hands on experience working in an insurance brokerage firm. This position will assist in the preparation of client materials and serves as a resource to a client service team.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Perform analysis of marketing and sales materials
• Assist in the creation of client materials, emails, presentations, etc.
• Complete Excel dashboards and spreadsheets
• Assist in the distribution or delivery of client materials
• Maintaining and updating benefit guide templates
• Conduct editing for RFP's
• Plans and organizes local office events
• Filing and organization
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or completed bachelor's degree in risk management & insurance, business management or relatable major
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) fluency
• GPA of 3.25 or above
• Able to multi-task and see projects through to completion
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
• Ability to be self-motivated, self-directed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completed first year of college coursework
