Job Title: Clinic RN-Gastro

Duties & Responsibilities: The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a clinic or outpatient setting. Working under the direction of physicians or other healthcare providers, the Clinic RN assists in patient assessment, treatment, education, and coordination of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers.
• Assist with procedures and minor surgeries, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
• Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:

• RN License (GA or Compact)
• BLS (AHA)
• Experience with direct patient care
• Day shift (8a-5p)
