Job Summary:

Primary technical resource for configuration, update, and maintenance of the clinical information systems. Facilitates cross-hospital discussions via clinical teams to share/leverage best practices. Advises clinicians on technical requirements of the systems, provide templates or ideas to assist in the development of transformational clinical initiatives, and assists in development and support of clinical care tools, such as assessments, progress notes, care plans , and order sets within the Hospital Information System (HIS). Works cooperatively with the Hospital's clinical personnel determining workflows and gap analysis as computer systems are transitioned into newer versions.

Job Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other relevant clinical discipline required, Master's Degree highly preferred
  • Two (2) years of hospital-based clinical experience required.
  • At least three (3) years direct hands-on experience in various roles in implementation, building, testing, and/or maintaining of clinical modules in MEDITECH and Athenahealth are highly desirable.
  • Current Professional License in Nursing, or other clinical discipline, in State of Illinois preferred. Relevant certifications preferred. Hospital Information System implementation experience highly desired.
  • CPR required: Only certifications issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross will be accepted.
