Summary:
Performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Clinical laboratories. Routine laboratory assignment will be in the Blood Bank with cross-training in an additional laboratory sections. Routine job functions include specimen acceptance, accessioning, processing, performance of testing and quality control procedures, the use of various laboratory information systems for result generation, reporting, and documentation. Routine schedule may include a weekend assignment and phlebotomy competency may be required.

Starting salary for this position is $69,450 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have previous clinical laboratory experience, and experience in a customer service setting.
