Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community mental health center, provides comprehensive care for emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse. The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Centeroffers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services.

About the Prevention and Recovery Center (PARC)

PARC CSC provides early screening, prevention and intervention services for individuals ages 14 to 35 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis within the past five years.

PARC CSC provides comprehensive clinical services with multidisciplinary teams evaluating and addressing every participant's individual needs. Each team member completes training specific to first episode psychosis and adheres to the evidence-based OnTrack model of care.

Three clinical teams serve program participants, with each comprised of a psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, case manager, nurse, clinical pharmacist, supportive employment and education specialist, and a team lead. Additional staff provide outreach and educational services in the community and across the state of Indiana. The PARC CSC program aims to improve functioning, promote wellness and recovery, and ultimately improve outcomes for young people with psychotic disorders.

Where You Fit In:

The PARC CSC Clinician plays a pivotal role in delivering individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices. This position is responsible for managing a diverse caseload of clients, identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs, and collaborating with team members to address these needs effectively.

This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive and coordinated effort in meeting the varied requirements of the clients under your care. Overall, as a Clinician, you play a crucial role in implementing effective and evidence-informed interventions to support the well-being and progress of individuals and their families.

Am I Qualified:

  • Master's degree in a Human Services field.
  • Required licensure or eligible for: LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
  • Valid Indiana driver's license

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a profound understanding and application of the Recovery Model and principles of motivational interviewing, while upholding high levels of accountability
  • Conduct a comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations (BPSE) by integrating information from the team and developing integrated diagnostic summaries. Prepare and date Clinical Treatment plans based on the BPSE, consulting with the treatment team, clients, and families throughout the process.
  • Proactively engage and involve the PARC participant, family members, and loved ones of the participants in PARC programming to enhance the overall experience and outcomes.
  • Utilize Shared Decision Making model with PARC participants.
  • Manage a caseload of clients by identifying their therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs, and collaborate with team members to meet these requirements.
  • Deliver a range of individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices
  • Provide case management services tailored to meet client needs and monitor client progress, accurately this in clinical documents.
  • Evaluate and update treatment plans at specified intervals, engaging clients, families, and the team in this collaborative process.
  • Maintain accurate timely documentation of activities, written reports, and client progress, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Identify and facilitate access to community resources for clients, offering indirect support to external agencies and the community through consultation and education.
  • Interpret and implement service and billing procedures in alignment with client needs.
  • Tailor care activities and behaviors to align with the age specific needs of clients.
  • Advocate for clients to ensure access to essential services, establish community relationships, and leverage resources effectively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth by actively participating in clinical supervision and completing grant packets to track outcomes promptly.
  • Actively engage in weekly individual and team supervision, collaborate with patients, families, and loved ones, and provide crisis intervention support to PARC participants.
