Cloud Analyst

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Cloud Analyst with proven industry experience in a shared business service model, to join our Cloud transformation journey. This is a new role, within a new function, so the opportunity to build and have impact immediately, is what makes this role so exciting. Our teams are extremely collaborative and forward thinking; the successful candidate will build the cost model analysis and reporting feature in Azure, for all businesses within the Risk Solutions Group.

The position is highly visible across all internal stakeholder groups, and will be working closely with various business vertical and their projects deliverables, Development, QA, IT Operations and Customer Operations teams.

You will be a collaborative team player, with ability to influence, communicate and solve problems effectively, whilst handling a fast-paced working environment. This will be combined with a transition to DevOps practices, agile support and deployment processes, as we start our migration to the public cloud.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years proven background working in a technical systems capacity
• BSc Engineering/Computer Science or relevant experience.
• Azure Public Cloud Enterprise experience
• Power BI Experience
• SQL Experience

Main Responsibilities:

• Facilitate process workshops that involve eliciting requirements and liaising with users to design/redesign reports.
• Development/Maintain process documentation and workflow.
• Document detailed requirements to support the development of Enterprise Cloud financial tracking tool
• Interacts with customers to represent requirements, understand their workflows, and create value through product enhancements and exceptional customer experience.
• Leverages metrics to track progress on customer needs and ensures that product efforts move those metrics and improve customer experience.
• Write and maintain documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build data visualization dashboards, charts, and reports
• Continuously define and gather requirements to improve KPI frameworks to measure the effectiveness of Cloud business and product performance
• Answer ad-hoc analytics questions
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis to understand and define business and product needs regarding analytical insights.
• Focused on continual improvement and optimization of application landscape
