Solution Architect (Data + Azure Cloud)
As aCloudData & Business Intelligence Architect you will be pivotal to the organization. This role will be responsible to define and implement a roadmap on data management, business intelligence/analytics solutions.The Solution Architect, Cloud & Data will work with stakeholders - both business and IT to gather functional and non-functional requirements, define and develop data-oriented solution architecture involving Big Data and Microsoft Azure technologies that align with and supports the business and technology organization strategy and standards. Additionally, this position will be responsible for management and alignment of solutions across all technology platforms working closely with developers, data and infrastructure teams to optimize application code, ensuring reusable services, optimizing performance, planning capacity and ensuring app/data security

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze an array of data product offerings and business requirements within the organization
• Understand business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding
• Apply technical knowledge and business insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking, etc.), and Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. App Service, containers, serverless, cloud native, etc.) as appropriate
• Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
• Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and Data Engineers in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred
• 5+ years of success in complex deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications required
• Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects. required
• Problem Solving. Ability to solve business
• Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Database administrators and Data Scientist) require problems through cloud technologies required
• Data oriented solution architecture development experience utilizing Both On-Premises and Cloud (Azure) modern data architecture platforms and patterns.
• Ability to create context diagrams as well as conceptual, logical and physical architecture as well as data orchestration diagrams.
• Hands on experience designing and developing data engineering and analytics solutions using tools such as Informatica, MSBI, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, Azure Synapse, Azure Key Vault and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing data models for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing solutions involving data sourcing, enrichment and delivery using APIs & Web Services.
• Hands-on experience developing big data technologies such as Distributed file Systems, HIVE and Spark
• Experience with Containerization methodologies - Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift etc.,
• Experience with Agile as well as DevOps, CI/CD methodologies
• Ability to provide guidance on app/data performance, high availability and disaster recovery.
• Experience with designing re-usable solution components and perform code-reviews.
• Experience working in a medium to large enterprise setting and collaborating multiple cross-functional teams
• Experience working on concurrent architecture assignments on multiple projects.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is a plus
