Innova Solutions is filling a 100% remote CMMC Product Owner role for a direct client in Atlanta. This is a 12 month plus contract opportunity. Pay Rate: $73-$75/hr

The CMMC Product Owner oversees the development of the organization's CMMC impacting products from start to finish to ensure they meet the researchers needs and preferences. The CMMC Product Owner main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items in ServiceNow, and deciding which features each product will have according to Researchers and key stakeholders' preferences.

Objectives

Key objectives of the CMMC Product Owner are as follows:

Promote CMMC Compliance as a shared responsibility across the organization's research Community.

Increase the skills and capabilities within the CMMC Security Program.

Create pathways for career advancement into cybersecurity and CMMC Framework.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Office has responsibilities as follows:

ü Program development, coordination, and logistics

ü Providing guidance and facilitation of training

ü Providing and managing access to cybersecurity tools and services. Maintain RACI matrix of functions and responsibilities

The CMMC Product Owner has responsibilities for the CMMC Research Program:

ü Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.

ü Defining the vision for the organization's CMMC products

ü Creating a CMMC product road map based on this vision.

ü Managing the CMMC product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.

ü Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

ü Developing user stories

ü Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.

ü Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.

ü Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Qualifications:

Ø Two or more years professional experience as an IT Product Owner

Ø Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.

Ø 2+ years of Regulatory Compliance experience, creating functional requirements in the form of use cases/user stories, business processes, and technology requirements.

Ø Experience with Information Technology assessment and Remediation Teams

Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ø Creative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills

Ø Time management and organization skills

Ø Experience with Agile methodologies; SCRUM

Ø Solid understanding of the SDLC

Ø Willingness to occasionally perform work outside regular duties/responsibilities.

Ø Broad experience in computer and network systems, including IT security.

Ø Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data.

Ø Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.

Ø Knowledge of Federal Regulations for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification 2.0 Requirements

Ø Knowledge of NIST 800-171 Security Requirements

Ø IT Cybersecurity Framework knowledge is a plus.

Pay Range*: $73-$75/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
