We are looking for a CMMS Planner / Scheduler to join our team in our Franklin Park, IL location. We have an immediate opening on days for a full-time CMMS Planner/Scheduler. This position is responsible for schedules and planning maintenance for the Plant. Maintain the preventive maintenance program and develop PM plans for new equipment. Utilize the SAP CMMS system to analyze data from the work orders and inventory accounting systems and provide the reporting needed to support the SQDC boards. Facilitates and coordinates maintenance activities with production. Schedule and supervise the Stockroom attendant and assistant planner/scheduler on a day-to-day basis.

Primary Function / Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment - Evaluates equipment operation and performs necessary action when malfunctions occur, or improvements are needed. Performs preventative maintenance activities as dictated by the work schedule.

• Develop, maintain & schedule preventive maintenance program. Coordinate maintenance PM program.

• Collect, interpret, and process data that is generated by the scheduled and unscheduled repair and project activity performed by the maintenance crews. Utilize the SAP CMMS system to maintain an on-going work order data base. Manipulate this data in formative ways to produce timely and comprehensive reports that are useful in evaluating the effectiveness of the support provided by the maintenance department and support the SQDC board tracking

• Direct stores activities, inventories, transactions, additions and deletions. Accountable for "1000" expense account and other budget line accounts impacted by assigned duties and responsibilities. Improve inventory control systems. Provide monthly activity and budget variance report.

• Direct activities of the assistant planner/scheduler and provide assistance where needed

• Support maintenance/engineering department as a problem-solving facilitator when needed. Weekend fill-in foreman on shift occasionally. Coordinate production schedule with anticipated project/maintenance activity. Participate in panel interviews which evaluate job applicants.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Education - High school diploma, post-secondary level education in a technical field desirable with course work in P.C.'s.

Equivalency - GED and equivalent vocational and/or technical training

Experience: 5 years of Industrial/Manufacturing maintenance experience
