Pay: up to $1100 Attendance Bonus per year and $300-$500 Bilingual Bonus per year

Position Profile

This role will work with dementia patients at the 13-bed Assisted Living neighborhood to provide engagement and enhance quality of life. This role will also provide person-centered personal care (bathing, continence care, nutrition, ambulation) according to the care plan developed by the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provides engaging person-centered activities for patients at all levels of physical and cognitive functioning.
  • Performs quality individualized personal care.
  • Contributes to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the unit.
  • Assures patient, staff and visitor safety.
  • Creates timely and accurate documentation.
  • Maintains and enhances professional skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Arizona C.N.A. licensure or Arizona Certified Caregiver.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy and follow-through.
  • Proficient computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous dementia care experience.
