Description

Expertise and Functions Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machines and Machining Centers (HAAS, Okuma, Thermwood, Bridgeport, Beckwood and other small manual machines. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls (HAAS and Fanuc) Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues Identify, order, and replace parts as necessary Complete testing and adjust parts as needed Complete planned and preventative procedures Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical aptitude and repair abilities Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Knowledge of current CNC machine technology - provide guidance on CNC machines to purchase Maintain department systems and procedures to provide efficiency Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment Ability to work as a machinist, assembler, and welder Complete all other duties as assigned by manager
