You will work alongside other developers and collaborate with stakeholders across the company to design and implement features within our products that deliver value to our users. Where:
CollaborateMD headquarters is located in the heart of Downtown Orlando. Our open floor plan, natural light office space delivers panoramic views of Lake Eola & the Central Business District and is home to high-energy, driven people who like to work hard and play hard.Please note that our teams are currently working remotely, so this role will require a reliable internet connection and the ability to set up an in-home office. In-office work is preferred as the office reopens but is not required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new application features and improvements to existing features based on defined project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by the Test and / or Customer Support teams.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for other team members within areas of expertise.
  • Identify and drive improvement opportunities related to our processes, tools, methodologies, and overall quality of our product.

Must Haves:
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
  • Experience developing server side applications in Java
  • Familiarity of SQL and relational databases
  • Strong conviction for usability, customer-focused design, and web standards
  • Passionate about developing high quality code that has been thoroughly tested
  • Experience with Angular framework
  • Experience using or willingness to learn TypeScript
  • Experience consuming REST APIs
  • Familiar using source control systems, preferably Git
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to learn quickly

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience developing for and testing across multiple browsers and devices within mobile and desktop environments
  • Experience developing Spring-based web applications
  • Experience with automated unit and integration testing solutions
  • Experience with performance testing
