Commercial Real Estate Paralegal opportunity available with large, international law firm's Chicago office in the heart of the Loop. This is a full time position, permanent position, onsite + some WFH flexibility.

The Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant will provide support to attorneys in all aspects of large scale commercial transactions and handle duties including, but not limited to the following:

• Preparing initial drafts of agreements, including purchase and sale agreements
• Review of title commitments and surveys, communicate with title companies, clients and surveyors
• Organize and maintain client files throughout the pre-closing, closing and post closing process
• Communicate with local counsel throughout the country
• Post closing follow up including, review of title policies and maintaining of recorded document files
• Prepare and file entity formation documents including certificates of incorporation, certificates of formation, certificates of limited partnership and foreign qualifications
• Prepare initial drafts of limited liability company operating agreements, agreements of limited partnerships, subscription agreements and resolutions

Candidates should have 4+ years of real estate paralegal experience or equivalent experience in the real estate industry along with a bachelor's degree. Title & Survey experience is required.
