LB&B Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Communications Instructor in the Norfolk, VA area.

Communications Instructor:

The Communication Instructor capable of teaching the Communication course, DRAKE/JCREW, Visual Information, and Visual communication courses.

• Must have experience training in a military and/or civilian mariner environment.
• The Communication Instructor shall be required to teach, maintain and update the communication course.
• The Communication Course Instructor shall be located/teach at the MSC/MUTC/TCHR Government operated or contracted training facilities in Hampton Roads.
• The Communication Course Instructor may be required to instruct the Communications Course, Basic Operations course, Visual Information, and DRAKE/JCREW training courses onboard MSC GOGO and GOCO ships around the world.
• The Communications course shall be instructed at either Little Creek, VA; Norfolk, VA; FT Eustis VA; San Diego, CA, or onboard MSC ships in a secure environment.
• The Communications instructor shall be subject matter experts on all material and equipment taught in the Communications training courses.

Minimum education/experience required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a Maritime discipline
• Six (6) years as merchant mariner Communication Specialist with shipboard operations experience, or ten (10) years of documented experience as a Civilian Mariner communications specialist.
