Summary and Essential Duties

This position will enforce and audit policies, procedures, and trainings in order to ensure compliance with wage/hour and other employment laws, regulations, and standards for Shamrock's facilities in Eastvale and Sacramento, California. Primary focus will be on California wage and hour compliance.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee and ensure operational compliance with wage/hour and related employment laws.
  • Identify gaps in processes and make recommendations for resolutions.
  • Work with legal team to develop, document, and conduct regularly scheduled audits of wage and hour records to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate and discuss audit findings with legal department and HR.
  • Maintain repository of documentation, policies, trainings or other documents that may be needed to comply with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Provide subject matter expertise leadership, coaching or mentoring to business units.
  • In coordination with legal and HR teams, stay up to date on all California wage and hour developments, trends and changes in laws that may affect the business.
  • Handle additional duties and special projects to ensure the busines is operating efficiently and in compliance with current regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-4 years of relevant wage and hour audit experience.
  • Must have understanding of federal, state and local wage and hour laws, including CA compliant wage statements, overtime pay, and meal and rest breaks.
  • Must have exceptional analytical skills and ability to communicate and present results accurately.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
