RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Construction Design Project Coordinator in Fremont, CA.Summary:We are looking for an onsite Design Project Coordinator in Fremont, CA for Start Immediately (50-60hrs a week) who has an understanding of construction and engineering procedures. Past experience working with either a design firm or construction contractor is required. Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize and distribute design requirements and inputs across from various end users
• Maintain and assist in driving productive meetings across project teams, providing and following up with action items daily
• Create and develop status reports and summaries for executive management in conjunction with project leads
• Track project design status from conception to handoff to execution teams
• Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the program goals
• Develop tools that enable efficient operations maximizing the teams time spent on solving problems

REQUIREMENTS:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• An intermediate understanding of construction and engineering procedures; Past experience working with either a design firm or construction contractor is required
• Needs to have the right attitude, someone who is comfortable not having established project procedures
• Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in supporting facilities/infrastructure design processes and administrate tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop channels of communication while understanding and managing professional relationships
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a must
• Willingness to get your hands dirty to understand the projects you are supporting
• Data science/analytic skills are a plus
• Ability to drive communication within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines, aggressive goals and demanding work environment
• Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and eagerness to continuously learn and take on tough problems
• Ability to perform in a fast pace high stress environment
