Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Construction and Project Development leadership team, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction for our puttery venues. This includes coordinating project milestones, timelines, and managing budgets. The role will serve as a liaison with property owners during construction and being a "go to" resource for resolving project delays and/or unexpected complications.

Responsibilties

  • Manage and execute project delivery on time and within budgets
  • Serve as a manager of general contractor and several owner contracted subcontractors
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting to management on the performance and results of all third parties during the construction process
  • Coordinate General Contractor, owner supplied subcontractors and architect to deliver projects within scope, on time, and within budget
  • Perform contract buyout and execution
  • Coordinate with Procurement to schedule projects ensuring that necessary resources are procured to meet each deadline
  • Manage submittal review, RFI and payments processes.
  • Review, approve and manage contract change process working with the Director of Construction
  • Coordinate owner supplied materials and subcontractors with the architect and the general contractor to ensure proper design integration and work scope execution
  • Communicate unexpected complications or issues that may arise during construction to Sr Management and assists in providing potential resolutions and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure that all regulatory notices, code approvals and site permits are secured for all projects
  • Coordinates with internal departments to resolve Operational challenges as they arise in the design and/or construction phases. See resolution through to final implementation and documentation
  • Participate in project startup, design, and planning meetings.
  • Provide periodic but consistent onsite presence as the primary point of contact for the Company at project sites and in meetings, and physically monitoring work progress and assessing overall performance
Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills
  • 4-Year Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or Architecture and Engineering Management
  • Prior experience in construction administration
  • Read and review construction drawings
  • Read and comprehend complex printed data/information and reports
  • Competently assess issues and provide sound recommendations for resolution
  • Travel by air and ground transportation unaccompanied and overnight, as necessary
  • Work extended hours as required and/or during other busy periods based on business needs
  • Operate a personal computer and use required applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, ProCore, PlanGrid, and other construction management software
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effectively prepare and present complex information to members of management
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Extensive knowledge of design and architectural principles and procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Design and Architectural software and associated technologies, Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software
  • Project management, organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across levels within the organization and with owners, landlords and project managers
  • Experience in commercial builds with MEP components
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Position responsibilities require extensive travel as needed. Expect a minimum of 50% travel but as high as 90% travel as project needs dictate

Working conditions
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to stand for hours at a time
  • Ability to travel, unassisted to visit facilitates and support major construction projects
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at-a-time without assistance
