Construction Renovation Technician - Multifamily Apartments

We have an opening for a Construction Renovation Technician for projects in our Las Vegas, NV region. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the renovation construction field and potentially grow within our organization.

Our Renovation Technician is responsible for most aspects of interior work and any tasks assigned by the Superintendent in vacant and occupied residential apartment units. This position will be a Full Time 40 Hour work week Monday - Friday, and will be on-site at Woodcreek Apartments near the Las Vegas strip.

Education/Certificates:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
  • Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, appliance installation, drywall repair and painting.
  • Knowledge and ability to use power and hand tools.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Open to a 40 hour work week Monday - Friday

Essential Duties:
  • Performs unit interior demolition which includes but is not limited to removing lights, plumbing, and electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, etc.; drywall and door repair, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Performs unit interior installation which includes but is not limited to lights, plumbing, and electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, window coverings, etc.
  • Performs unit Interior Punch/Finish which includes but is not limited to make the unit "Rent Ready" for inspection by Superintendent and then by Property Management.
  • Participates in company required training by established deadline.
  • Complies with all Fairfield standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state and federal laws.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned.

*The sign on bonus, less usual deductions, will be paid following the completion of 90 days of employment.

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00

This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
