Held assists company boards, senior management, and legal counsel by deploying highly experienced forensic accountants, investigators, and former regulators to credibly, efficiently, and discreetly unravel complex accounting issues and fraud schemes, and to clearly communicate the facts to relevant authorities and stakeholders.

The Global Investigations group champions team members to utilize their experience and unique skillsets within our diverse portfolio of work ranging from allegations of improper financial reporting, accounting fraud, bribery, or other corporate malfeasance. You will gain experience in how to interact with regulators, auditors, and investors who require timely and credible answers to questions that arise in such situations. Assisting clients with compliance needs for various regulatory agencies and mandates is a key service we provide to clients. Job Responsibilities

As a Member, You Will

J.S. Held is searching for Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Directors to join our Global Investigations team.

• Assist on assignments relating to USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Know Your Customer (KYC), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and all other laws and regulations established to detect and prevent money laundering, terrorism and/or fraud.
• Perform tasks related to drafting case investigations, preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), analyzing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRS) and Monetary Instrument Logs (MILs)
• Must be able to formulate and clearly articulate and document a supportable rationale for the decisioning of transactional activity as part of regulator mandated or voluntary transaction lookbacks.
• Conduct transaction analyses using third party public record database searches and Internet search engines.
• Must be able to meet productivity and quality assurance standards and protocols

Required Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or international equivalent
• Strong analytical and decision making skills
• Strong organizational and writing skills to create clear concise reports and communication with management

Physical And Mental Job Qualifications

• Travel as needed, depending on client engagements

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $75,000 - $165,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
