Job Description

As a Design Director within the Global Consumer UX Design team, youwill work alongside your cross-functional peer group to influence strategic design decisions and ultimately deliver the best possible app and web experiences. You will oversee the portion of the customer journey focused on Shopping and Rewards.

Expect an immersive, fast-paced environment, overseeing multiple projects, while flexing your skills as an effective communicator - especially when it comes to relaying creative concepts to our design teams and company stakeholders.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Consumer Design and be a member of our diverse Global Design Organization where we believe that different perspectives and backgrounds inside our team lead to innovation and inclusion in our product design. Responsibilities

•For this role, the area of focus is within the Shopping and Rewards portion of the customer journey.

•Take accountability for the creative vision and the standard of output across your team.

•Ensure that all the organization's output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand and strategic commitments.

•Apply a customer-focused, iterative design process.

•Make design decisions based on research and insights, as well as advocate for continuous learning and inclusive design best practices.

•Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team members (Research, Content Design, UX Operations, Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders.

•Have strong people management and leadership skills in order to hire, develop, and inspire the creative team.

•Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.

Requirements

•8+ years in UX role and 2+ years managing creative teams (including leadership, team building and delegation)

•Proven experience in leading, growing and inspiring highly talented and productive teams. Portfolio review will be required.

•Thorough command of the UX lifecycle with deep, direct experience in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques to drive momentum and credibility within the organization

•A degree in a visual or experiential design discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Commerce and Loyalty services expertise is an advantage
