Description:

The Consumer Lending Audit and Compliance Lead will be the subject matter expert regarding retail lending compliance with all applicable federal regulations, including but not limited to FDPA, HMDA, CRA, Reg B, FCRA, CIP, and SOX requirements. The incumbent will lead the department in remaining compliant and will institute best practices and procedures around each regulatory requirement. This role will manage the Compliance Manual and other ancillary guides for the department by staying on top of any regulatory updates, maintaining open communication with the Bank’s Compliance and Audit departments, and refining and revising processes and procedures. The incumbent will present all processes and procedures to the Compliance team for approval and maintain clear communication lines of business with the Bank. The Consumer Lending Audit and Compliance Lead will create and execute training materials and classes for Associates on updates to regulations and be an expert on navigating within Bank systems such as Salesforce, nCino, and Terafina. The incumbent will use reporting functionality and data within these systems, especially nCino, to create reports to support the LOB’s process and procedures on regulatory compliance. The Consumer Lending Audit and Compliance Lead will be the First Line of Defense for all regulatory requirements. They will guide the department to 0% errors and serve as the Risk Liaison between the LOB and the Risk Department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or equivalent degree in a Business-related field.
  • Must have 5-7 years’ experience working with Federal Banking Regulations in some capacity.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Federal Banking Regulations such as FDPA, HMDA, CRA, Reg B, FCRA, CIP and Sox Requirements.
  • Prior experience creating Guides and Manuals and conducting training classes on those documents.
  • Prior experience serving as the FLOD and SME for federal regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
