Position Summary:

Directs and oversees all aspects of the continuing medical education program. Directs a team of CME coordinators in the design of on- and off-campus courses that are linked to improvement in clinical performance and patient outcomes in accordance with ACCME criteria, standards, and policies. Constantly evaluates and improves the CME program. Oversees department and course budgets and management of expenditures to prioritize resources based on the strategic objectives of the department and organization.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, communications, hospitality, or related area

Professional Licensures/Certifications:

Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP), or equivalent certification

Experience:

8 years' experience in CME, CPD, CEU or other accredited healthcare education department

5 years management experience in an educational setting
