Our client, a renowned hospital in Philadelphia, is seeking several Patient Services Representatives to join their medical scheduling team. If you have a passion for healthcare and take pride in providing excellent customer service, this contract position is the perfect fit for you!

About You:

• 1+ year of healthcare scheduling experience, preferably in high volume role or call center environment
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Experience with EPIC scheduling software is preferred, but prior use of other EMR/EHR systems are still a plus!
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills; both verbally and in writing
• The ability to work inter-departmentally and complete assigned tasks with efficiency and attention to detail

The Job:

• Answer and place a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments in a timely and professional manner
• Accurately document patient information; including patients' insurance and medical records
• Always maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Provide utmost customer service and quality care to all patients both over the phone and in-person
• Promptly assist patients and medical staff on an as needed basis

This contract position is slated to last up to 3 months and pays $18/hr.
