Matheson is looking for an experienced Contract Specialist for our Sacramento, CA location.
As a Contract Specialist, you will maintain contract documentation and understand, interpret, and apply Postal Service policies and procedures to daily operations and contract issues. You will be expected to provide timely and professional responses to Postal Service and other customer inquiries. You will develop and negotiate proposals, contract renewals, and service changes, including pricing models. You will analyze financial performance and profitability of contracts and make recommendations. The successful candidate will develop and sustain customer relationships on an ongoing basis. You will work with Accounts Payable to ensure proper invoice payment and assist with budgeting. You will monitor contract storage systems, service standards, and compliance.

Primary Skills & Qualifications:
Education/Experience: 3-5 years of experience with contract administration and development AND demonstrated experience in contract negotiations and contract management. 4-year degree in Accounting, Business Management or Logistics preferred.
