Job Duties/Description:

* Prepare real estate agreements by utilizing provided templates.

* Receive and assess incoming land control agreement requests (leases, easements, purchase agreements, etc.) for completeness.

* Coordinate property searches with third-party abstractors, lawyers, recorders, and researchers, as necessary.

* Review vesting instruments and other recorded documents in accordance with title industry and company standards to ensure full interest.

* Draft and review leases, easements, purchase options, and related documents for the development team.

* Collaborate with the Real Estate Origination Manager, project managers, land agents, legal representatives, and other stakeholders.

* Establish and maintain landowner files, tracking spreadsheets, LPM data, and Basecamp records as required.

* Monitor and manage ongoing document requests, providing up-to-date project status reports as needed.

* Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, such as coordinating project closings, managing data and contracts, facilitating large mailings, and conducting real estate training sessions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working within the title industry, real estate abstracting or legal industry (managing contracts) - required
  • Experience with land Deeds, title abstracting and/or real estate agreements
  • Knowledgeable regarding contract, file and change management
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Microsoft Teams software.
  • Existing experience with renewable energy projects - preferred but not required
Additional Info:
  • Pay range: $30-$35/hr depending on experience level
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Location: In office for training for 1-3 weeks and then work a remote or hybrid schedule (you choose)
  • Type: 6 months contract position with potential to go longer
