Overview of Position

Looking for talented QA Analyst to perform end-to-end and component level testing of the applications involving multiple integrations with partner teams as well as third parties. In this role, you would be exposing the defects in the interfaces and in the interactions between integrated components.

 

This is an onsite position, candidates are required to be local to White Plains, NY. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation and testing methodologies
• Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate issues/gaps and to understand business requirements
• Experience in validating RESTful API web services using Postman or similar tools based on business/design requirements
• SQL Server experience and ability to write moderately complex SQL statements
• Strong knowledge of system integration testing methodologies
• Ability to apply the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the QA Team
• Manage time and workload efficiently, and the ability to prioritize and modify priorities accordingly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to discuss, develop and implement plans
• Work independently as well as work effectively in a scrum team atmosphere

 

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automated testing environments
• 4+ years of experience in system functional and technical design reviews and incorporating details from reviews into existing test plans, scenarios and scripts

 

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
• Able to multi-task and follow through on assignments to completion
• Ability to prioritize work with tight schedules and target dates
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a high-performing team

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related technical field.
