We are working with a client that has an immediate need to be their Interim Controller! This person will be managing a team of seven (7) and reporting directly to the CFO .This role is an open ended contract and has permanent potential. This will be a remote position, but ideal candidates are from the Boston area. No immediate plans to reenter the office.

Responsibilities: Leads the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting department. He/she is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities, along with monitoring and enforcing accounting policies and procedures.

• Maintenance of the organization's general ledger
• Review of reconciliations
• Managing the year-end audit process
• Ensure transactions and documentation complies with US GAAP

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Sage Intacct preferable
• Real Estate or NonProfit Experience Ideal
• 7+ years' Experience at the Controller level
