PURPOSE: This role supports supplier development initiatives. It includes working with suppliers to return product, reporting, documentation, making physical and electronic movements of materials and other related activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Maintain Supply Management reporting as required.
  • Execute Return to Supplier program as needed.
  • Perform detailed work.
  • Multitask well.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, subsidiaries and cross functional areas of the Lincoln Electric organization.
  • Ability to become fluent in the Supply Management requirements for the current and future compliance related activities, Lincoln policies and procedures.
  • Resolve problems as needed.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma required. Further training or education preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Good computer skills in SAP, Excel, Access, Word and GlobalLinc.
  • Familiarity with Lincoln products and systems is desirable.
  • Attention to detail is a must and commitment to delivering on-time.
  • Work well with all levels of the organization, as well as external suppliers and customers.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to accept responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Lifting and moving products on an occasional basis as needed similar to material handling.
