Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project work site in a safe and environmentally sound condition per DOT, EPA, OSHA, USCG and any state/local requirements
  • Must excel in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking a strong problem-solving skill are required for success.
  • Ability to manage projects and people simultaneously.
  • Organized in a self-directed environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedicated to providing unparalleled customer service and a quality product.
  • Support bid development from project management perspective by providing input to define project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Act as single point of contact with the customer(s), from project development through project execution.
  • Manage agency coordination related to Environmental Response.
  • Coordinate technical documents and provide review of technical documents that support regulatory submissions and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure Sub-Contractor performance is monitored against contract terms and conditions.
  • Partner with the QA/QC Team and other functional groups to ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assist the sales force in preparation of estimates and procedures in planning of projects, with a strong eye to operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor morale of personnel on project and strive to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Complete post project evaluations.
  • Interface daily with customer contact, and constantly seek opportunities to provide additional services.
  • Complete Project Management Reviews daily.
  • Participate in safety investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain the highest of integrity to ensure the "Cotton" image is viewed in the most positive manner

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Background Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
  • Construction project knowledge REQUIRED
  • OSHA 10 REQUIRED, OSHA 30 is a plus
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • ICS knowledge a plus

  • Proven organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Good driving record:
  • Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable driving experience
  • No more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years
  • No repeat seat belt violations
  • No high-speed moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally as business needs arise REQUIRED
