We are looking for an outstanding, and driven Coverage Detection Analyst to join our growing team. This position will have responsibility for completing assessments for prospective clients by analyzing files and providing a detailed summary of results. This position will also include formatting files and matching data to invoice clients for Coverage Detection. Coverage Detection is a service enabling clients to submit eligibility inquiries on a patient's behalf when the benefits are either unknown or unclear. The purpose of the analyst is to support our internal Sales and Project teams, as well as our clients to implement the Coverage Detection product.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ability to communicate with clients effectively and professionally.
  • Process client files in and out of the Waystar system to match payer payments to identified coverage utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Working with the Engineering Ops team, assist in identifying technical solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements for technical cases. Work with all business teams to finalize technical instructions until the requirements are satisfactory for the developers and quality analysts.
  • Analyze proposed system changes for any impact to other systems.
  • Effectively create and communicate project expectations, schedule, and milestones to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Work with teams to ensure that solution meets business and client requirements. Ensure that system instructions are correctly understood and articulated.
  • Identify and communicate best practices and tools for technical case execution and management.

  • Organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Competent and proficient understanding of technology platforms and terminology.
  • Strong experience with Excel preferred
  • Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Healthcare-related experience in claims processing, payments, healthcare office workflow, or related fields is helpful

  • Experience with healthcare Remittance Advice (835) X12 EDI Transactions is a plus
