Location: Irving, TX
Description: One of our largest clients has an opening for a CT Tech in Irving, TX!

This CT Tech is responsible for performing quality CT Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care.

Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:30 - 2:30 or 6:30 to 3:00 with a 30 minute lunch.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Performs high quality CT procedures, according to exam protocol, in a timely manner.
• Ensures people are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols and techniques.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Grad of an Accredited Program
  
• ARRT-CT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficient in starting IV's
