Summary:
Participates in the overall leadership and determination of the scientific direction of the CTDD; assumes responsibility for the direct supervision of the members of CTDD Biostatistics and Statistical Group; provides and maintains responsibility for statistical collaboration in one or more of the CTDD research areas. The salary range for this position is $140,854- $168,444 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
PhD in Biostatistics or a related field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in clinical trials research.

NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have five years' experience with the design of clinical trials of all phases, experience with GYN cancer trials preferred and experience within the NCTN Cooperative Group network. Additionally the preferred candidate will have three years' experience with clinical trial protocol development in a collaborative environment, including writing research grant proposals, descriptions of statistical analysis plans, methods, findings, and interpretation of the statistical results for publication is peer-reviewed journals. The preferred candidate will also have a demonstrated SAS programming proficiency with monitoring clinical trial data for internal consistency, configuring standardized datasets to support efficient analysis and reporting processes. SAS Certification is preferred along with experience with SDTM/ADaM. The preferred candidate will be experienced in planning, organizing, writing and maintaining standard operating procedures related to statisticians and statistical processes. Additionally experience with oversite and management of direct reports, including coaching, evaluations, training and development and experience particularly with statisticians and statistical programmers is preferred.
