Let's talk about the team and you:

Strategic management and leadership of category growth (Sleep) at CVS Health. Develop key customer relationships, build annual Joint Business Plans, and execute the commercial selling process with excellence. The CSM is ResMeds "Category General Manager" at CVS Health, leading the cross functional customer planning process and ensuring that the commercial needs and expectations of both ResMed and CVS Health are met. This role requires a growth mindset along with the ability to work across multiple levels and functions at both ResMed and CVS Health.
Act as a Senior leader who is tasked with business model transformation and acceleration of our success with CVS Health and more broadly within the Pharmacy & Retail channel, working within a dedicated cross functional customer focused team which includes marketing, category management and operations.

Let's talk about Responsibilities:

  • Create long-term growth strategies optimizing Brand and Customer resources to build commercial value.
  • Develop category strategy. Build strong relationships with CVS Health's cross functional commercial team. Plan, implement and conduct all relevant meetings, support ResMed Subject Matter Experts (SME) in delivering the growth plan with CVS Health.
  • Working closely with category insights manager, leverage available data and tools (Extracare/Precima, IRI, POS, etc) to analyze business performance and brand health. Develop conclusions and formulate action plans. Share findings and planned action during regular business review meetings.
  • Document complex issues and proposals in succinct and persuasive manner; present to groups representing multiple and dissenting points of view with the purpose of building consensus and support
  • Lead the commercial process with CVS Health for ResMed Sleep products achieving assigned objectives. This will include building out CVS sleep program and retail presence
  • Manage the matrix of cross-functional teams set goals, rally resources and problems solve.
  • Deploy financial resources based upon category strategies and growth opportunity. Collaborate with Sales Finance to optimize Gross to Net efficiency
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and assess for risk and opportunity.
  • Own the plan across both ResMed and CVS Health. Gain required alignment and support to deliver growth.
  • Be creative and identify new and different ways to build commercial value for CVS and ResMed. Maintain an entrepreneurial approach to nurture and build innovative programs and initiatives.
  • Work closely with ResMed cross functional channel team to ensure complete communication of trends and opportunities for category segment & brand development. Execute strategic initiatives.
  • Lead Customer/category growth and management - Implement and maintain joint business planning, line reviews, promotional execution, financial management, business analysis, forecasting, and strategic relationship building.
  • Own all net sales forecasting for CVS Health. Ensure accurate forecasting on core product, proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with Demand Planning, Customer Service and Supply Chain
  • Manage account P&L, balancing investment with top-line opportunity; monitor CVS Health sales, profit and revenue contribution and achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Act as point person on all projects including, but not limited to, financial and product projections, seasonal and monthly recaps, budgeting and other daily communication
  • Driving distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion support to optimize spend - working with marketing and category manager to seek out and execute on growth opportunities
  • Build trust and foster a relationship to be recognized as a premium supplier
  • Liaise with other channel marketing teams to align on sufficiency plans and execution of key market activities and initiatives

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years CPG experience with direct sales experience. Direct CVS experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of building, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Outstanding financial, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Incredible communication, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively influence at all levels both internally and externally
  • Results-driven and able to work with the cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to compute and synthesize inventory levels, seasonal flows and gross margin - Ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret the data and turn into actionable conclusions
  • Category Management/Insights or Shopper Marketing experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to set strategy and deliver results in a matrixed team.
  • Analytic and Financial acumen. Ability to distill complex issues clearly and action plan. Understanding root cause.
  • Effective communication skills. Presentation, Written, and Spoken.
  • Proven track record leading the business planning cycle at a Top Ten US Retailer.
  • Demonstrated competence in a variety of industry standard computer applications: Office365, Trade Management Tools, IRI/Nielsen.
  • Must have wholesale sales and strategic business development experience - relationship with specified account management preferred
