Data/BI Support Lead

Location: Redmond, WA - work PST hours

Remote/ Hyrbid

Work Experience

• 8-10 years' experience managing Operations / Support Engagements

• 5+ of SQL Server experience writing complex stored procedures, triggers, views,etc.

• Expertise and specialization in:

o SQL

o Azure Databricks / Spark

o Azure Data Factory

o SSAS

o Azure Analytics Services

o Power BI

• Strong understanding of BI areas. Ability to work in large, complexdevelopment BI projects including the proactive identification of issues andcoordination of resolutions.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Platforms is a must

• Able to work independently to implement a solution with minimal guidance

• Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to learn new related technology quickly and independently

• Ability to communicate senior stakeholders - technical & business.

• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under continual deadlineconstraints are necessary

Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery for a complex data support engagement involving Azuretechnologies and complex business rules

• Coordinate delivery between onsite and offshore teams working across differenttime zones

• Track SLAs and KPIs, provide status, track incidents / tickets, queuemanagement

• Work on high priority & complex tickets / incidents

• Clarify business rules, data queries, and provide resolution

• Train team members / ramp up on new functionality

• Work on complex BI ecosystems and design / develop solutions based on SQLSSAS, develop cubes, analyze datasets

• Analyze data sets, data patterns & perform gap analysis

• Define solution roadmaps, working prototypes, analysis findings

• Communicate design, requirements, feature set, functionality, usability andlimitations of subsystem to team and/or development lead or manager.

• Participate in Business Requirements and Functional Requirements meetings,identify gaps in requirements and drive discussion around appropriatesolutions.

• Provide client communication as appropriate to project.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or DOE
