Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• This is a senior-level position within the Customer Data team. Our client is looking for someone strong to come in and help drive the work being done on data governance and dashboard reporting (Power BI experience is a plus)
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong experience with data governance, data dictionary, master data management
• Monitors and reports on data governance metrics and activities using dashboards and mock-ups
• Defines data quality standards, business rules, and exception feedback loops using MDM tools
• Creates detailed documentation of functional, system, user, and reporting requirements, including Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications, and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams.
• Collaborates with business and IT stewards in building business glossary, term definition and reference data, leveraging the Business Glossary, Metadata Manager, Enterprise Data Catalog or comparable tools.
• Acts in a project management role for key projects. Versed in Project Planning tools and PPM processes.
• Minimum of 1-year project management/coordination tracking.
• Minimum of 1 year of organizing business documentation for projects.
• Minimum of 1-year experience developing dashboards and reports
• Minimum 2 years of experience applying data architectures and data management principles to solution building
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with at least two of the following: data quality, metadata management, master data management, data modeling, process design, and Data Governance
• Minimum 1 year of experience with algorithms and scripting using SQL
