Job Type: Direct hire with client (permanent position)

Work Setting: REMOTE

Client Location: New Jersey

Compensation: Starting at $95,000 | Commensurate with experience

Overview: The Data Visualizer II will support business areas including Merchandising, Allocations, Marketing, IT and Supply Chain Analytics teams with insights gained from analyzing Company and external data by developing interactive advanced data visualizations that can be dynamically tailored to fast changing business requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with analytics PODs and/or business stakeholders to develop visualization reports and help enable self service
• Guide business stakeholders through reports to ensure meaningful insights are extracted and can be used to produce data driven decisions and business outcomes
• Leverage design thinking techniques to build reports that optimize end user (i.e. business) needs
• Train business users on self-service tools, such as PowerBI, and reports in order to help them become self-sufficient on day to day data and reporting needs
• Automate existing and continual reports in tools like PowerBI or Tableau
• Provide thought leadership on visualization best practices and help the organization with adoption of visualization tools

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative and/or business field
• 5-7 years of analytics experience with specific focus on visualization tools, methodologies, and/or responsibilities (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
• Proficient in SQL and data reporting
• Strong understanding of design thinking & advanced visualization techniques
• Passion for data + design and using visualization techniques to simplify business analysis
• Must have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills & strong written and verbal communication skills
