Join National Dentex- a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity in Atlanta, GA for a Full Time Dental Lab Technician I. 

The regular hours for this position are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.  These hours will be subject to change as business needs dictates; weekends may be scheduled occasionally on an as needed basis.

Salary is negotiable and will be determined by skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • A minimum amount of these products should be fabricated depending on the cases assigned in a particular day depending on the type of the tasks assigned.
  • Read Rx slips
  • Pour, trim, base and articulate
  • Model work
  • Die trim
  • Duplicate
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy
  • Able to operate equipment (ex: casting machine, hand pieces, burnout ovens, etc.)
  • Deliver finished products ready for inspection by QC.
  • Knowledge of materials.
  • Ensures timely manufacturing of cases under his/hers fabrication
  • Responsible for the quality of all products that he/she manufactures.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems.
  • Other duties maybe assigned to meet business needs
Essential skills and experience: 
  • Must have 3 to 5 years experience in the dental technology field
  • Individuals have knowledge of operating dental equipment that is solely be used for qualified technicians.
  • Must have good dexterity to be able to fabricate these prosthetics.  
  • Familiar with all products and material used in the crown & bridge/removable departments
  • Able to follow work procedures as established by Trident.
  • Study and familiarize himself/herself with new products

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
  • Computer 
  • Dental equipment used in manufacturing all crown & bridge/removable products
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Repeated bending and kneeling
  • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
