RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client with an exciting opportunity for a Design for Additive Manufacturing Engineer in Fremont, CA. This is for a complex manufacturing environment designing 3D Printed plastic, metal and ceramics.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Seniority: 5-10 years of experience
  • Preferred industries- Aerospace, Semiconductor, anything using 3D printing/Additive Manufacturing technologies
  • Strong background with NX or equivalent software
  • Experience with generative and topology optimization (nTopology)
  • Background working with (focus on metal) plastic, metal and ceramic additive processes
  • Experience optimizing design for additive processes (feature, weight, and form optimization)
  • GD&T experience (bonus points if with plastic and ceramic applications)
Preferred:
  • Topology preferred (Ansys if not)
  • NX preferred (Creo or SolidWorks ok if not)
